1. Customer Service & Barista, Saturday 9am – 1pm.

We are on the hunt for an experienced (or somewhat experienced) barista/customer service superstar to serve yummy coffee and cake decorating supplies to Rolleston locals from our awesome Cake Shop on Saturdays! Barista training will be provided; however, we need someone with at least basic barista skills to hit the ground running. 

You also need to be AMAZING with customers! Have you got the gift of the gab? Love chatting all things cake?? A confident up-seller? Then we want to hear from you!

You’ll be required to open/close independently, serve customers, upsell, hand over cake orders, answer phones, emails and ship courier parcels, to name a few. Once fully trained this role will be a solo gig (yes, we'd love our weekends off!) so you will need to be someone who can work well under pressure whilst multi-tasking several customers and/or tasks.

 

If you are reliable (especially with weekend work!), have a great chatty personality, and are looking for a long-term position, we want to hear from you!

 

We will prioritize applications from candidates who are also available during weekdays on a casual/ad-hoc basis for those random days when Brendon needs to be away from the shop, so bonus points for those who have that type of availability and flexibility to be a backup for us - this would be in the same capacity as the Saturday work you'll be doing (i.e - no baking or decorating lol!)
